Your privacy in Zynd Vizio
Zynd Vizio is ZyndPay’s video meeting service. This notice explains how information is used when you host or join a meeting on the web, iPhone or Android.
Joining and hosting
Guests provide a display name and, when the host requires it, an email address. Hosts can see this information to review admission requests. Other participants see your display name. Hosting uses an existing staff account; the mobile app does not create a separate consumer account.
Audio, video and shared content
LiveKit Cloud processes meeting audio, video, screen sharing, chat and connection information to deliver the call to participants. Camera and microphone access require your device permission. You choose when to enable them or share your screen. Media is encrypted in transit; this service does not claim end-to-end encryption.
Room access and operational data
We store room settings, host identifiers, admission requests and access state to keep private invitations and moderation working across devices. Passcodes and guest access credentials are stored as hashes. Session credentials on your device keep you signed in or identify your admission request. Technical logs and provider diagnostics may include connection details, device information and IP addresses to operate and troubleshoot the service.
How long information stays
Room access records are temporary and expire after eight days without a room-state write. Closing a room disables admission immediately, but does not immediately delete its operational records. In-meeting chat is held in the current client session rather than a persistent chat archive. Employee 1:1, group and space conversations are persisted as company chat records. Provider diagnostic retention is governed by the provider’s service settings and policies.
Meeting recordings
The host can start and stop a recording of meeting audio, video and shared screens. Participants see a recording notice. LiveKit prepares the recording and transfers it to private Cloudflare R2 storage. Downloads are available for 24 hours after recording starts; stored files are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours in storage. Only the host can download by default. The host may enable downloads for admitted guests, including after they leave. Removed guests lose access. Short-lived download links may remain usable for up to one minute after a permission change. Copies saved to someone’s device are controlled by that person.
App delivery
Expo delivers the mobile app and compatible over-the-air updates. Update checks send the app platform, runtime and update information needed to select a compatible release.
Your choices and requests
You can deny or revoke device permissions, stop sharing and leave a meeting. Content already seen or captured by another participant cannot be recalled. Contact [email protected] with questions or requests to access, correct or delete information. Include the meeting date and your display name, but do not send passwords, passcodes or access tokens.
